Get started on HIDNstock
Five steps from sign-up to your first sale or purchase. Here is what each step needs, and why getting it right matters.
Step 1
Create your account and verify your identity
Sign up with your work email, then complete a short ID check with our partner Didit. Only the person creating a company does this. Invited colleagues skip it.
You need
- Passport or Swedish national ID card
- A phone or a computer with a webcam
- Good light, no glare, the whole photo page in view
Why it must be correct
Every company on HIDNstock has a real, identified person behind it. This protects buyers and sellers, especially when listings are anonymous.
If the check is declined, the next steps stay locked. Press "Try ID check again" and retake the photo flat and sharp.
Step 2
Register and verify your company
Add your company with its legal name, organisation number, VAT number and address. We validate the VAT number, screen against sanctions lists, then you complete the Didit company check.
You need
- Legal company name exactly as registered
- VAT number (e.g. SE559xxxxxxx01)
- Registered address
- Company documents for Didit, if asked
Why it must be correct
Invoices, VAT and payouts are issued to these details. A wrong name or VAT number means invalid invoices, VAT problems and blocked payouts.
Start the company check once and finish it. If it goes to manual review, wait for approval rather than starting a new one.
Step 3
Choose a plan
Pick the plan that fits how much you list. Paid plans activate only after Stripe confirms the payment. Receipts are emailed and available under Company & settings.
You need
- A company card for the subscription
Why it must be correct
Your plan sets how many active listings you can have. Subscriptions belong to the company, not the person.
Step 4
Connect payouts with Stripe
Sellers connect a bank account through Stripe. You can sell before this is done, but payouts are held until setup is complete.
You need
- A company signatory or authorised person
- Company bank account (IBAN)
- Details of owners and representatives
Why it must be correct
Stripe is legally required to know who receives the money. Incorrect bank or owner details delay or stop your payouts.
Step 5
Publish your first lot
List with photos (up to 10), quantity in pieces or kg, price ex VAT, MOQ, stock location, shipping zones and origin details.
You need
- Accurate stock quantity
- Correct pickup address and postal code
- Where you ship to
- Origin documents, if available
Why it must be correct
Stock is deducted automatically on purchase and freight is booked from your address. Wrong stock means oversold orders, wrong postal codes mean failed freight bookings.
Phone or computer
Every check works on both. The ID check is easiest on a phone. The company check can stay on your computer, so you can upload documents stored there.
What we stand for
Every company is checked before trading. Sellers can stay anonymous to buyers, but are always known to HIDNstock. Prices are in EUR, ex VAT, with VAT added at checkout.
